Login to your Medchart account and click "Verify your account".

Choose Your Verification Method

Click "Didn't receive a code?"
Click the dropdown box to choose a verification method. *Note: You may only see mail as an option.
Click "Resend code".

Enter the verification code you received via email, fax, email or mail.
Click "Continue" to start configuring your account:

Select Types of Records
Select the types of records you would like to release by checking the available boxes:

Add Record Types
To add a record type click "+ Add another type of record":

Specify the type of record you would like to add.
Click "Add Record Type".
Once you have added the desired record types, click "Continue"

Add Pre-Payment Fees
If you would like to add automatic pre-payments for patients, lawyers or clinics, add an amount to the "amount" column.
Pre-payments are charged at the time of request and are charged to every request of that type before it appears in your inbox.

Add Practice Fees
Click "Add another fee" to add any fees you would like your practice to charge for releasing records.
These fee options will appear in a quick selection drop-down for you to add to any request.

There are 3 types of fees:
Unit: this is a per unit charge (such as a page count)
Variable: this fee allows you to manually enter a fee when requesting payment
Flat: this is a set fee that is pre-determined and never changes

Configure Request Page
Customize your clinic request page with your chosen colors and logo.
Edit the URL where your request pages will live. Choose an easy to remember and recognizable ending that is relevant to your practice and contains no spaces:

Choose a Remittance Type
Choose whether you would like to receive payments from Medchart via Cheque or eTransfer.
Enter applicable information.

Activate Account
Click "Activate my account".
By clicking "Activate my account" your Medchart account will be available to receive digital requests from Medchart and/or Dynacare.
